SAHUARITA 40 YEAR CLASS REUNION MEETING

Members present: Jim, Morris, Dolores, Sandy

1. Discussion on locations:
La Posada seemed to be the best choice—total estimated cost will run approximately $220 per couple (includes Sat night
dinner-no host bar, room with two queen size beds, and continental breakfast). (Extra nights cost $79 + tx per night)

2. Discuss date: Weekend of Sept 13?
3. Review planned events for reunion:
Main event will be Sat evening dinner & music
• Dolores, Morris are checking into DJs (Jim ck hotel DJ)
• Jim checking out menu choices—buffet or individual orders
Socializing event of casual afternoon on patio by pool starting at Sat noon
• Jim volunteered his room for anyone not staying at hotel who needs a place to change (especially any single females)
• Jim cking music possibilities for afternoon (DJ/Sirius)
• Possible fundraiser to be checked out Jim & Dolores—discussion centered around “dunk tank” with former Student Body President (Mike) being the first volunteer to sit in
4. Building contact database (it's still the biggest problem we face)
• Each member needs to submit all contact info they already have to Sandy.
• Establish reunion website-Jim’s son? Sandy? Dolore’s daughter?
• Ck with Paula regarding school website, radio station, local newspapers
5. Expenses
• Track any expenses related to reunion; keep individual records, submit to Treasurer
6. Set date for next meeting
• Conference call confirming contacts are being on Mar 15th
• Next meeting March 29, at La Posada, 11:00
